THE MISSION
two New Zealanders will compete at the LYNX Space Academy (LSA) in Orlando, Florida for a trip to SPACE. Our state-of-the-art Space Academy is designed to put potential astronauts through their paces, training them for the rigors of space travel.
SPACE ACADEMY
The winner of our space competition will be flying with space tourism company SpaceXC.
They will be flying on the 2 seater XCOR LYNX spaceship, equipped with a giant cockpit window, so you’ll have the most impressive view of Earth. Read more
LSA CHALLENGE
- Take Off - A flight in a L-39 Albatross
MKII jet that travels at twice the speed
of sound - Zero G - A parabolic flight that recreates the weightlessness of space
- Re-entry - A centrifuge machine that
simulates the same extreme G-Force

FINAL SELECTION
One of the two New Zealanders will be selected by our panel experts for a 103km trip up to SPACE, yes actual SPACE, with space tourism company SpaceXC as a Lynx Astronaut. If you think you have what it takes, join now.

THE PRIZE POOL
two lucky winners in New Zealand will be chosen to attend the LYNX Space Academy (LSA) . The best candidate from New Zealand, will blast off in the XCOR LYNX spaceship (subject to medical requirements).
